It takes 5 minutes to bathe your dog, but 2 hours to blow dry its hair. Can a quick-drying hair dryer for pets free you?

Bathing Problems

If you have a dog, you can’t avoid giving it a bath. Bathing can remove body odor and keep it clean, which has many benefits! However, many owners find that it is easy to raise a dog, but difficult to bathe it, especially for medium and large dogs. Giving a dog a bath at home is like a battle.

The difficulty mentioned here is not that it is difficult to wash, but that it is not easy to blow dry after washing, because most medium and large dogs have double-layer hair, and the hair is particularly thick. It takes 1 hour to wash the dog and 2 hours to blow dry the dog. In addition, you have to blow the dog's hair in a small bathroom, which is stuffy and hot, and the dog hair is flying all over the place.

So is there a simple, fast and labor-saving way to dry the clothes quickly? The answer is: Yes.

With professional equipment

There are professional equipment for bathing dogs. We won’t talk about high-end professional drying boxes here, after all, the cost is too high. If you want to bathe your dog at home for a long time, you can choose to buy a water blower for your dog.

The so-called water blower is the equipment that pet shops use to blow the dog's hair when we take the dog to the pet shop for a bath. The wind force of this equipment is 2-3 times stronger than that of the hair dryer. And the water blower can work for a long time, unlike the hair dryer, which has to rest for a while after blowing the dog's hair.

The advantage of a water blower is that it can quickly blow out the water vapor hidden in the dog's hair or evaporate it. Generally, a medium-sized short-haired dog can be completely dry in 20 minutes.

Prepare multiple towels

This method is also quite practical. After giving your dog a bath, prepare a few bath towels for dogs and let the water on the dog's body drip down for a while. Then use multiple bath towels to wipe the water vapor on the dog's body repeatedly. After repeating this several times, you will find that the dog's body is already half dry.

Then the owner can use a water blower to blow off the remaining water on the dog. However, please prepare a mop before wiping the dog multiple times, and mop up the water that falls around the dog at any time, otherwise the water on the ground will get on the dog again when the dog lies down.

With the right time, right place and right people

This method is what I often use. I have a 80-pound golden retriever at home. I’m afraid the pet will get skin diseases if I take it to a pet store for a bath, so I can only wash it myself at home. Not only does it take three hours to give it a bath, but I also sweat a lot.

But later I learned my lesson. I chose a sunny Saturday or Sunday, preferably with wind, to wash the dog's hair, and then wipe it half-dry with several towels and immediately take the dog out for a run in the sun. At this time, the dog's hair is half-dry, and it will be completely dry after running in an open space for about an hour. This method does not require you to stay at home to blow the dog's hair. You can take the dog out to dry it naturally, which not only allows the dog to walk, but also saves the owner from suffering.

However, it should be noted that you must dry your dog's feet at home, otherwise its wet feet will be covered with mud when it goes out. Also, please bring a comb with you when you go out and comb your dog's hair at any time.

It is also gained from experience

Seeing this, many people may say that the author is doing too much. Sending the dog out for a bath not only saves time and effort, but also costs money to buy a hair dryer two or three times. Secondly, we will not talk about whether washing the dog outside will cause cross-infection of skin diseases. If the owner does not bathe the dog himself, how can he know the dog's own skin condition?

Therefore, bathing the dog by the owner is a process of self-examination of the dog's health. After the water wets the dog's hair, all the skin diseases of the dog will be exposed. And bathing the dog can also increase the affection between the owner and the dog, so why not do it?
